Dad's Pinning Ceremony

This past weekend, my dad's company had their 5 year & 10 year employee pinning ceremony. My dad is one of the founders for Cellxion, a telecommunications company in Bossier City. For the past 12 years he has served as Vice President. It started as a dream of 3 individuals and has turned into a multimillion dollar company. This year he has chosen to retire. He has put a lot of hard work in this company and now wants a little break. At this ceremony, my dad made his final farewell retirement speech. It was wonderful. I am very proud of him for all the hard work he has done!

Bowling

This past weekend, John, Addison, and I packed up and went to Bossier for the weekend. While we were there, my cousin, Christian had his 8th birthday party at the bowling alley. My sister, John, and I decided to bowl a few games. My mom said she would watch Addison. Well, Addison saw everyone else bowling and decided she wanted to bowl too. Here are a few pictures from the big event!

St Patrick's Day!

Well, Addison and her daddy have on their green for St Patrick's Day. I however don't and have lready gotten pinched by one of my kids at school!

Our bow situation

Addison has been having troubles keeping her bow in her hair! She absolutley hates bows! When she doesn't have one in, her hair is in her eyes and I HATE THAT! She needs a hair cut in the worst possible way. She looks so cute in her bows! I'll say to her, "Oh Addison, you look so pretty!" As soon as I say that, she immediately feels her head to see if she has a bow in her hair! Well, now I've started putting her hair back with a rubberband instead of just her bow. Well, she has figured out how to take that out too! AHHHHH! It drives me nuts!

After

My Child, the Bully

Well, last Thursday night while giving Addison her bath, I noticed she had a bite mark on her shoulder. The daycare didn't say anything when I picked her up that day so I assumed they didn't know or they forgot to tell me. I told myself that I would ask them the next day which was Friday. Well, Addison ended up getting sick during the night so she didn't go to daycare. I stayed home with her. Well, this morning I dropped Addison off at daycare and asked about the bite mark. Ms. Billie, apologized up and down because she forgot to tell me about the incident on Thursday. She had a lot going on with all the kids so I can't blame her on forgetting to tell me! I would probably lose my mind watching all the kids too. I have a lot of respect for people who have that much patience. Anyways, she told me that Addison was shaking this little boy and pinching him. He is a lot smaller and younger than her, so all he could do to defend himself was to bite her. So, Addison might be the bully in class. Hopefully she'll grow out of it. LOL!

Allanah's Pink Carnation for Phi Mu

Well, this weekend was a busy one for John and I. My parents went to the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic this past weekend. They left on Friday, and came back Sunday. They have had this trip planned for a while. Well, this weekend was also my sister's Phi Mu Pink Carnation. John and I acted as her "parents" for the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, there was a mother/daughter luncheon. I attended this event with my sister. We had to wear hats as you can see! That night was the Pink Carnation Ball. John and her date, Quinton escorted her. Here are a few pics from that night. We all had a really great time!
