Here are a few pictures from the Pumpkin Patch! Addison had a blast but were still having problems with her wanting to look at the camera.

Acting like a baby
Last night, we went to go visit my friend, Katie, in the hospital. She had just had baby Evan. On the way up to the hospital, I was practicing with Addison to say, "Hi baby Evan." She had it down! As soon as we got to Katie's room, Addison went right up to Baby Evan, and said, "Hi Baby!" Then she proceded to cough all over him! I tried to cover her mouth as soon as I could. We left shortly there after.
On our way to the car, Addison insisted that John hold her. She asked me to hand her her sippie cup and handed it to John. She wanted him to hold her and feed her like a baby.
She is just too funny sometimes!

This past weekend, Addison was invited to a Halloween dress up birthday party. As you can see, she was a bumble bee. More pictures to come Halloween night!

ULM Homecoming Game
It seems that all my recent posts start with, "I know I haven't posted in a while but..." This one will be no different. This past weekend, John and I attended the ULM Homecoming game. Well, we didn't actually attend but we tailgated in the Grove. We had so much fun and I saw so many people I hadn't seen in a while. Here are a few pics.

Addison Turns 2!!!!!
Wow, I can't believe my baby girl has turned 2. It seems like yesterday I found out I was pregnant. She doesn't even act like a baby anymore. She's like a little girl. She talks so much! She is very independent and loves doing things for herself. For Addison's birthday, John and I decided to get her a puppy. We got a male bassett hound. We decided on the name, Rosceaux. Addison can't say that yet, so she calls him CoCo. I have found myself calling him that too, so it might just stick! Here are a few pictures that Desirae Gooding took. They are amazing! Enjoy!

Dog Walking
Yesterday, our friend, Brandon Moody had a fish fry. Brandon and John have been friends since I don't even know when. Well, as soon as we got over there, Addison noticed the "PUPPY!" Brandon's girlfriend, Nicole, had a toy poodle named Bitty, as in, Little Bitty. Nicole was so nice to let Addison walk the dog. I just knew Bitty was going to have a heart attack with Addison all her in face, but Bitty was a great sport. Nicole handed the leash to Addison and Addison took it like a champ. The whole 2 hours we were there, Addison walked the Bitty through the grass.
Looks like we might have to get Addison a puppy.

Wow! It's been a while!!!!!!
Wow! It has definately been a while since I have blogged! I've been way busy this summer! And to think I am a teacher, so I'm supposed to have my summer off. Haha! I wish!
Well, a little update on everything...
John and I have recently bought our first home. We are living in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in West Monroe. This is definately the perfect house for us! Addison has her very own playroom and a HUGE backyard to play in! The house was recently remodeled with ceramic tile floors, a fleur de lis back splash in the kitchen, and hard wood floors in the master bedroom. I'm absolutely in love with it and so glad we are all moved in!
We have also tried putting Addison on the potty. That was definately a no go! She wanted nothing to do with the potty, so we'll try again in a couple of months. Oh well!
We just had John's 26th birthday! He got a blower for one of his presents and that's really all he wanted! LOL! So easy to please!
Oh and Father's Day also just passed. I got John a hedge trimmer, (again easy to please), and Addison got him a portrait of none other than herself! Well, John didn't want me to feel left out, so he got me/us Britney Spears concert tickets. He's so sweet and he's going with me even though I know he would rather not, lol!
Here are some sort of new pictures of Addison... She loves puppies!

Dad's Retirement Party
My dad had his retirement party at Olde Oaks Golf Club in Bossier City. We had a great time with family and friends. Some of the friends who attended have turned into family over the years. I'm very thankful for all the people who have came into my life.
Spring Break in Orange Beach
This past Spring Break, we took a much needed family vacation. John, Addison, and I packed up and went to Orange Beach, AL. We stayed for 5 whole days. We also celebrated Easter there. We had so much fun. We hung out at the beach, went to the new boardwalk, went on a dolphin cruise, and spent time together as a family. We also discovered Addison new love for eating sand and her hatred for the Easter Bunny. Here are a few pictures of our trip.
